What to include in your outdoor clothing tech pack
A clear technical pack gives the development team one reference for the garment, its measurements and the details your brand wants approved.

Show the garment and its construction
Include front and back drawings, detail views and annotated reference photographs. Mark the opening direction, pockets, hood or collar, cuffs, hem, seam details and any removable components. Distinguish an inspiration photograph from a construction requirement.
Provide measurements and fit information
List points of measure, the base size, measurement method, tolerances and grading rules where available. Explain the target wearer and intended layers. A fit sample should be reviewed against these requirements rather than against a different reference each time.
Define materials, trims and artwork
List shell, lining, backing or synthetic filling as required. Specify composition and weight if known, plus colour standards and trim references. Supply logo, print and label artwork with dimensions and placement. Flag any material that needs sourcing or further development.
Add order and approval requirements
Include quantities by style, colour and size, packaging instructions, testing requirements and the delivery target. Name the person responsible for sample approval. Keep the version and date visible so both teams know which specification is current.
Your project checklist
- Front, back and construction details
- Measurement chart, fit reference and tolerances
- Fabric, trims, colours and artwork
- Packing, test requirements, quantities and timing
Uni Best's starting MOQ is 300 pieces per style, with fabric and colour minimums reviewed separately. Typical sampling is 7–15 days after the brief and required materials are confirmed; typical bulk lead time is 60–90 days after sample approval and material confirmation. Your order schedule is confirmed individually.
